C.I.C.A.D.A. S.A. is - An association of caring people dedicated to the support and well-being of Cochlear Implant users and Prospective users.

The Cochlear Implant Club and Advisory Association of South Australia (C.I.C.A.D.A. S.A. Inc.) was established in 1987 to provide support through fellowship for new and prospective Cochlear Implant recipients, their families and associates. The organisation serves as a meeting background for the sharing of problems encountered by patients

during the time of adjustment to artificial sound.

Today the association reaches out to all Implant users and Prospective users everywhere to share information and provide understanding and support.

C.I.C.A.D.A. S.A. Provides

• Counselling Pre and Post Operatively
  
• Hearing Rehabilitation services for Implant users
  
• Information on the Cochlear Implant
  
• Print Materials including Newsletters and Brochures
  
• Monthly Morning Teas and Information sessions in the North and South areas of Adelaide
  
• Will organise regular gatherings in country areas when required
  
• Other organised events including a Christmas in July and an Annual Picnic throughout the year
